These courses will introduce students to a wide variety of topics in the areas of human performance and sports sciences. The courses are available to all students regardless of major.

Mike Mignano is a lecturer in movement science at the U-M School of Kinesiology with research interests in the psychosocial aspects of sport and physical activity. He has applied and research experience in adaptive sport, mental performance training, gender representation in sport, and female athlete health and welfare.
For KINSTUDY 201
Dr. Harjiv Singh continues their role with the University of Michigan Human Performance & Sport Science Center for winter 2026. He has taught courses for HPSSC since winter 2024 and brings new content and continued excitement for the course topics and introducting students to sport science professionals as guest lectureres. Dr. Singh currently holds a position as a Performance and Development Scientist with the Charlotte Hornets basketball team.
