Amanda Melvin is a Research Lab Manager in the Michigan Performance Research (MiPR) Lab. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science and Psychology from Albion College in 2013, followed by a Master of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Ball State University in 2015. Upon completion of her graduate degree, Amanda began her ongoing employment at The University of Michigan/Michigan Medicine, with previous positions in clinical and research roles within cardiovascular and emergency medicine. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys running competitively and spending time outside with her young daughter. Amanda has discovered her niche in her current role, which perfectly encompasses her passions for exercise physiology, research, and running.
